Business Controller with Quality Profile – Malmö City

Do you want to be part of developing a socially important operation where quality, analysis, and management are in focus? We are now looking for two business controllers with a strong quality profile who want to contribute to efficient and strategic support for the various areas of the social services.
As a business controller, you will become part of the unit for quality and follow-up issues within the Labour Market and Social Administration, Malmö City. Together with your colleagues, you will work to secure and develop efficient, strategic, and legally secure support throughout the administration.
Responsibilities
As a business controller, you will work both operationally and strategically. You will support and coordinate operations in long-term and overarching issues, as well as analyze and follow up on their compliance with goals, quality metrics, and other governing documents, guidelines, and applicable legislation. A central part of the assignment is to translate legislation and management models into practical and clear management that makes a difference in daily life.
You will contribute to the development of the administration's management and leadership processes and be an active participant in the work to strengthen quality, structure, and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues within the department, with the operations, and with other parts of Malmö City. Based on the needs of the operations and changes in the external environment, you will be an important part of developing sustainable working methods and structures that support both managers and employees in their assignments.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree at the bachelor's level or higher in a social science area, such as political science, behavioral science, or social work. You have several years of experience in development work and are accustomed to working with analysis, follow-up, and quality assurance of operations in relation to quality, objectives, as well as governing documents and legislation.
You have very good analytical skills and can translate legislation and overarching management into concrete and useful practice. You express yourself very well verbally and in writing in Swedish and have good system experience. It is an asset if you have experience of working with cross-cutting issues in large organizations, process and change management, as well as management and leadership processes in the public sector. Experience of coordination and process leadership, as well as experience of working in Stratsys, is also an asset.

About the Workplace
The Department for Quality and Development consists of several units with broad and varied assignments covering social sustainable development, board administration, case preparation, as well as support and analysis for the administration's development and quality work. The department is part of the staff and constitutes one of nine departments within the Labour Market and Social Administration.
Together, we work to create good conditions for managers, employees, and the board to succeed in their assignments and contribute to a socially sustainable city for all Malmö residents. The department provides support to operations, administration leadership, and the board prior to execution and decisions.
